NATCHEZ — The Natchez-Adams School District is giving the community a say in the NASD Administrator of the Year.

The online poll closes at 7 p.m. today.

“We are the taxpayers’ school district, so we want the taxpayers to have a voice on who should be our next district’s teacher and administrator of the year,” said Steven Richardson, public relations coordinator.

Richardson said the selection process would continue to have a community panel of retired educators and business and civic organization leaders that interview each teacher and administrator vying for the title.

The winners will be announced at a special evening event in January.

Next week, the district will release a poll for the NASD Teacher of the Year.
