Mr. and Mrs. Daniel G. Dillard of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Selah Havard to Julien Bideau, son of Mr. and Mrs. Georges Bideau of Plaisir, France.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late John C. Havard of Natchez.

She is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of Southeast Tourism Marketing College in Dahlonega, Ga.

She is employed by Cabarnas County Convention Visitors Bureau  in Concord, N.C.

She is the granddaughter of  Mr. James J. Cole and Mr. Tullie Poole Havard, both of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Providence High School in Charlotte, N.C., and a graduate of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N.C.

He is employed by Continental Tire in Fort Mills, S.C.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Monique Bideau of Bretagne, France, and Mrs. Paulette Stephan of Nantes, France.

The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Twin Oaks in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
