Craig and Karen Williams of Sandy Springs, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Williams to Collin Rainey Varner, son of George and Lori Varner of Gadsden, Ala.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Monte Vista High School in Danville, Calif., and a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford. She is employed by Insight Global in Atlanta.

She is the granddaughter of Barbara Murray and the late Eugene Murray of Natchez and the late Troy and Bertha Williams of Memphis, Tenn.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Westbrook Christian School in Gadsden and a graduate of Auburn University in Auburn, Ala. He is employed by Johnson Lambert LLP in Atlanta.

He is the grandson of the late Frank and Vergie Meyer of New Orleans and Betty Torbert and Tom Varner of Auburn.

The wedding will be 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Primrose Cottage in Roswell, Ga.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
