FERRIDAY — Services for Margaret Eugene Falkenheiner Welch, 80, of Harhan, La., who died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, in Harhan, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Welch was born April 16, 1936, in Ferriday, the daughter of Henry Falkenheiner and Edith Lee Falkenheiner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas W. Welch; one daughter, Kate Welch Pellitteri; and one sister, Kay Falkenheiner Burson.
Survivors include one son, Thomas Welch Jr.; one granddaughter, Alexis DeVille and husband, Paul; one grandson, Stephen Pellitteri Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Beaux and Mia Grace DeVille; one sister, Mildred F. Peterson and husband, Forrest, of Ruston, La.; one niece, Libby McMullen and husband, Corbet, and their daughter, April; one nephew, Clay Peterson and wife, Susie; and two nieces, Karena Reuter and husband, Darryl, and Belinda Cuffe and husband, Ted.
