FERRIDAY — Services for Lenard Ross Jr., 60, of Waterproof, who died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.   
Burial will follow at Consurella Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Ross was born Dec. 19, 1955, in Oak Grove, La., the son of Lenard Ross Sr. and Evisteen Jordan.
He was employed as an offshore oil driller. He was also a member of the Pride of Waterproof Masonic Lodge No. 71.
Mr. Ross was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Brenda Ross.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Shaw Ross; his mother of Greenville; three sons, Daminen Ross of Monroe, La., Courtney Ross of Bastrop, La., and Lenard Ross III and wife, Katrise, of Ruston, La.; two daughters, Chianti Ross and spouse, Keisha, of Dallas and Shayla Ross of Waterproof; one stepson, Larry Ellis Sr. of Harrisburg, Pa.; two brothers, John Ross and wife, Delilah, of Shangaloo, La., and Jerimane Ross and wife, Rondreaca, of Monroe; one sister, Yvonne Trent of Hamburg, Ark.; six grandchildren; and one uncle.
