NATCHEZ — A local woman is reaching out to the public to help a Natchez family forced out of their home by a fire Friday afternoon.

Tanya Biglane is collecting items for Courtney Smith and her family after thier Parkway Drive house was destroyed in a fire.

Biglane said the family needs furniture for a three-bedroom house and clothing, including size-9 women’s pants, women’s size medium to large shirts, men’s size 40/32 pants size, men’s size 3x shirts and men’s size 12 shoes.

The children in the family wear boy’s size 32/32 pants, extra-large shirts, size 12 shoes, boy’s size 8 pants, size 7-8 shirts and size 2 shoes and girl’s size 5T pants and shirts and size 13 shoes.
