FERRIDAY — Services for Ann Newton Yearick, 82, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at her residence, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Dennis Baker officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Yearick was born Aug. 10, 1934, in Winnsboro, La., the daughter of Eddie Eugene Newton and Lillian Fay Newton.
She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was also retired after working 19 years as the activity director at Heritage Manor.
Mrs. Yearick was preceded in death by her husband, Harry “Corkey” Yearick and her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Michael H. Yearick and wife, Rhonda, of Ferriday and Mark A. Yearick and wife, Monica, of Superior, Colo.; one daughter, Sheila Marks and husband, Paul, of Ferriday; five grandchildren, Alicia Yearick, Ashley Yearick Pate and husband, Drew, Michelle Yearick Gamberi and husband, Adam, Courtney Yearick Lewis and husband, Cody, and Hunter Marks Gardner and husband, Brad; 10 great-grandchildren, Ryane, Ruger, Cadyn, Sheridan, Daniel, Kellen, Colton, Evelyn, Finlea and Brody; two sisters, Estelle Newton Comeaux and Bobbie Newton Hammons; one brother, Don Newton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Emfinger, Justin Emfinger, Ronnie Jones, Jacob Jones, Adam Gamberi and Brad Gardner.
