NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Mary Louise Ellis, 89, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, at Natchez Rehabilitation and Health Care, will be 3 p.m. Friday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Denny Callaway officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ellis was born March 31, 1927, in Natchez, the daughter of Franklin Elmer Willard and Willie Edna Stroud Willard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward P. Ellis Sr.; two sisters, Helen Blake and Mable Jurick; and nine brothers, Frank Willard, Louis Willard, Bobby Willard, Ray Willard, Lloyd Willard, Billy Willard, Hewlett Willard, Henry Willard and Bert Willard.
Survivors include one daughter, Edna Burt and husband, Ronnie, of Queen Creek, Ariz.; one son, Eddie Ellis and wife, Debbie, of Natchez; three grandchildren, Ron Burt, Emily Magee and husband, Richard, and Sarah Credeur and husband, Eric; two great-grandchildren, Colby and Skylar Magee; one sister, Laura Barnes of Natchez; and one brother, Wallace Willard and wife, Mary, of Natchez.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
