NATCHEZ — Three people were reportedly injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. and Franklin streets Friday morning.

Natchez Police Detective Jerry Ford said a witness reported that the driver of a black Dodge car traveling on Franklin Street reportedly ran the red light at the intersection and collided with a black Ford pickup truck traveling southbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Street.

The driver and passenger of the Dodge and the driver of the Ford were injured, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries, and were taken by ambulance to Merit Health Natchez for treatment.
