ST. JOSEPH — Services for Demetra Y. Morris, 45, of St. Joseph, La., who died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, La., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater St. John Baptist Church in St. Joseph with the Rev. Donald Scott officiating.
Burial will follow at Oneona Cemetery in St. Joseph under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Morris was born Oct. 27, 1971, in Newellton, La., the daughter of Henry Moses and Linda Morris.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Johnny Coleman, of St. Joseph; her father of Tallulah, La.; her twins, Tyler Allen Morris of Dallas and Taylor Morris of St. Joseph; a cousin raised as her brother, Thaddeus Morris of St. Joseph; three stepbrothers, Cedric Coleman and wife, Michelle, Brian Coleman and wife, LaDonna, all of Baton Rouge, and Johnny Coleman and wife, Tameka, of St. Joseph; one sister, Agape Skinner of Monroe, La.; one stepsister, Demetria Mitchell and husband, Leroy, of Baton Rouge; three aunts, Toni Morris of St. Joseph, Aundrea Carter and husband, Bradley, and Paula Webb, all of Senatobia; one uncle, Cleandrew Morris of Las Vegas; and three great-aunts, Elnora White and husband, Joe, of Las Vegas, Racheal Branch of Tallulah and Olivia McDowell of Muskegon, Mich.
