Tigers fall on road to St. Frederick in season finale, 34-0

MONROE, La. — Sicily Island High School fell behind 13-0 at the end of the first quarter and couldn’t come back.
St. Frederick High School topped the Tigers, 34-0, in both teams’ regular-season finale.
The Tigers (1-8) entered Thursday’s showdown No. 30 in the latest LHSAA power rankings, and will now have to await their fate over the weekend to see if they qualify for a playoff berth.
Quarterback Tyreke Tolliver led Sicily Island with 4 yards passing and another 25 yards rushing.
Sicily Island was led defensively by Johnny Tolliver, who tallied 16 tackles.
Zavier Ramirez chipped in with 11 stops, while Lamontae Cotton and Devion Dunbar chipped in with 10 and seven tackles, respectively.
St. Frederick improved to 7-4 with the win.
