FERRIDAY — At approximately 5:22 p.m. Sunday, shots were reportedly fired near Kentucky and Sixth streets, as two men allegedly argued.
Ferriday Police Department Assistant Police Chief Bruce Wiley said Sunday no one was reported injured in the shooting. Wiley said the suspects are still at large and the matter is under investigation.
Wiley said the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office and Vidalia Police Department were called to assist in the search for the shooter or shooters. During the search, Wiley said the CPSO K-9 inadvertently bit two FPD officers.
The officers were treated and released at Riverland Medical Center for minor injuries.
