Buy goods from ‘greatest’ country

I’m not for either presidential candidate, but I do agree with Donald Trump. Wake up, America, and buy American made products. I’m fortunate enough to have the opportunity to sit on my carport and watch the various automobiles pass by. Ford is No. 1, Dodge and Chevy No. 2, foreign No. 3, and GMC No. 4. Now number three is a high number. Why? Where is the American pride? Get it together, folks! Where does the money go? To foreign manufacturers, of course. I realize we have to have trade. But to the large extent we have today?

Take China — please! It’s ridiculous about the items made there that we just go out and buy! When my wife and I shop, we look to see where it was made, then make a choice. There is a great amount of same-type items made in the U.S.A. Just look! Several items from China have been detrimental to peoples’ health! Children’s toys have had arsenic in them! Drywall, for instance, had formaldehyde in them, and people on the west coast could not live in houses or work in business offices. Then there is catfish, shrimp and other items from foreign countries.

We live in a great country, and may I add the greatest! Let us stop and think and observe before we purchase anything. My wife and I are doing our part. Now without guessing, it is your turn. Thank you.
