Ferriday rebounds to beat Washington-Marion

After giving up a big play for a touchdown in the first quarter, Ferriday’s defense picked up the intensity and Ronald Williams had a big game with three touchdown passes as Class 2A Ferriday defeated Class 4A Washington-Marion 26-15 Friday night.
“We were glad to get a win. We bounced back and we played well,” Ferriday head coach Dwight Woods said.
Williams threw two touchdown passes to Carlos Collins and one to Dominique Jackson.
Ferriday (3-2) begins LHSAA District 2-2A play at 7 p.m. Friday when it hosts Rayville.
