NATCHEZ — Services for Julius “Tee-Nianche” McKnight Sr., 77, of Vidalia, who died Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, at Rapides Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Flower Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Ford Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. McKnight was the son of Sam and Beulah McKnight.
He was employed by Smith Tools in California. He was retired. He also a member of Pleasant Grove Church in Vidalia for 10 years and served as an usher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Lucinda McKnight; grandfather, Sam McKnight; one son, Frank James McKnight; six brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Shilinda Briscoe and husband, Kenneth, and Shelia McKnight; two sons, Timmy McKnight and Julius McKnight Jr.; three sisters, Alma Myles, Shelia McKnight and Barbara McClain and husband, Edgar; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
