Living Word Worship Center will be hosting a free “Transforming The Inner Woman Conference and Empowerment Town Hall” in partnership with the Mississippi Women’s Economic Security Initiative, Ward 1 Alderwomen Joyce Arceneaux-Mathis and Ward 4 Alderwoman Felicia Bridgewater-Irving.
This conference and empowerment town hall will feature nationally renowned speaker, bible teacher, recording artist and author Alicia Williamson Garcia. Alicia will expound on our relationship with God and extract from the scriptures principles to live by. The town hall will be a panel discussion designed to give women a voice to be heard on issues specifically related to affordable housing, better wages, affordable childcare and healthcare.
All are encouraged to attend this conference that ministers to the complete woman, both spiritually and physically. God has personally orchestrated this event with you in mind.
Day 1 begins from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday with a dynamic, inspiring worship and life-changing Bible study, and continues from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Breakfast and lunch are included as well as day care. There will also be door prizes, a vendor fair, praise dancers from the area and from neighboring cities and artistic dramatizations.
There is no cost to attend this phenomenal event at Living Word Worship Center at 8 Covington Road.
On-site registration will be available, or you can go online at bit.do/empowermenttownhall. The Rev. Dwight Greene will be the pastor with first lady Beverley Greene.
