NATCHEZ — Services for Vera LaVonne Creech Baldwin, 74, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, due to complications of heart disease, will be 3 p.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service time Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Baldwin was born Dec. 31, 1941, in Dallas, the daughter of Raymond and Lucille Eddins Creech.
She grew up in Vidalia and was a 1959 graduate of Vidalia High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 45 years, John A. Baldwin.
Survivors include one daughter, Teri Baldwin Nunnery and husband, Reece, of Summit; one son, Paul D. Baldwin and wife, Helen, of Zachary, La.; three grandchildren, Will Nunnery of New Orleans, Wes Nunnery of Hattiesburg and Sarah Baldwin of Monroe, La.
She also leaves behind her beloved dachshund, Cocoa and terrier, Molly.
Mrs. Baldwin dearly loved animals and took in many unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats.
