Blessings from Him are waiting

Is there really any question as to the signs and symptomology of our current day?
There are none that can stand and say that we are not in the last season, in the last days. The truth is before our very eyes with the holy scriptures being fulfilled at every turn.
Families in ruin, finances in ruin, The church in such a dilapidated state, crisis after crisis, fear after fear, our nation as great as it once was in the struggle for its very existence, and yet, there is only one answer.
Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, in his precious word has given us the instructions. Will we listen, will we hear what thus sayeth the Lord?
We have become so accustomed to standing that we have forgotten how to kneel and too whom we are to kneel. We have spoken 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land;” but alas, we have not lived it.
The scriptures declare that there is life and death in the tongue. The scriptures also declare that “faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God;” thus, it is to be spoken in order for faith to become active.
And yet again, we read in the holy word that “faith without works is dead.”
Speaking without action is like attempting to drive the car without cranking it. We need action. We need to retrieve the blessings of God that he has for us as individuals, as families, as the body of Christ and as a nation.
We must bless Israel! Genesis 12:3 declares that God himself will, “bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse her.”
Join with us at 2 p.m. an extending into the evening on Sept. 23 and 24 at the Natchez City Auditorium with word, prayer, praise and worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Join us as we celebrate and honor Israel, God’s chosen people. If a miracle is desired in your life, then you must fulfill the desire of the giver of miracles. Come and be a part, come and bless Israel and be blessed by the king of kings and the lord of lords, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Son of the Living God.
The Rev. Eddie King is pastor of Parkview Church of God in Natchez.
