NATCHEZ — Services for Patricia L. Hines Ford, 68, of Jackson, who died Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth E. Stanton officiating.  
Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
A celebration of life wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. today, followed by visitation at the funeral home.
Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Ford was born Aug. 1, 1948, in Natchez, the daughter of Vernon R. Hines and Rosa B. Hines.
She was a graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School and focus studies at Jackson State University. She was employed by Insurance Company Professional and previously by Jitney Inc., Travelers and Trustmark-Bottrell Insurance.
Mrs. Ford was a member of Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Her hobbies /interests included genealogy, constructing the Hines family tree and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Ford; and godmother, Georgia Scott.
Survivors include one daughter, Tonya Taylor and husband, Jerry; one stepdaughter, JoAnn Watson; one brother, Vernon R. Hines Jr. and wife, Jacqueline; one sister, Jessie Hines Halls; two grandchildren, Jerry Taylor II and Kennedy Taylor; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
