The Centreville Academy Tigers are riding a two-game winning streak heading into a week 5 matchup against MAIS AAAA power Oak Forest.
Last week, Centreville (3-1) topped Ben’s Ford 33-6, the third-straight game the Tigers have posted at least 30 points.
Centreville coach Robbie Isonhood said the points are a product of Centreville’s balanced offense.
“We have a variety of running backs, and in our passing game, we just move our backs out as receivers,” Isonhood said. “It’s good to be able to rely on several receivers.”
Against Oak Forest, Isonhood said running the ball between the tackles could be difficult against Oak Forest’s interior.
“The key is being able to move the ball,” Isenhood said. “They’re really big up front defensively. They have some big personnel, so we have to be on our toes and stop the run.”
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Amite, La.
