FERRIDAY — Visitation services for Joseph Welch, 50, of Wilmot, Ark., formerly of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at his residence, will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday.

Mr. Welch was born April 27, 1966, in Franklin Parish, the son of Robert Welch and Nora Tidwell Welch.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lynn Welch.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Robin Davis Welch; one son, Matt Welch and wife, Melissa, of Crosset, Ark.; one daughter, Meghan Welch of Wilmot; two grandchildren, Cooper and Jaxen Welch of Crosset; two brothers, Randy Welch and fiancée, Erin, and Bill Sandford and companion, Bridget; three sisters, Karen Enterkin, Donna Brewer and husband, Snapper, and Wendy Drews and husband, Jim; father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Diane Branton; grandmother-in-law, Marie Wallace; four brothers-in-law, Chris Davis, Cody Davis, John Branton and wife, Robin, and Don Branton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
