NATCHEZ — Services for Mark Anthony Douglas, 50, of Natchez, who died Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, will be 5 p.m. Saturday at West Gate Funeral Home in the George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel.   

Arrangements are under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Mr. Douglas was born Jan. 30, 1966, in Natchez, the son of Samuel Douglas and Rebecca Williams.

He was a 1984 graduate of North Natchez High School. He also served in the U.S. Army for five years and in the National Guard following his army tour.

Mark enjoyed basketball, fishing, grilling and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Margaret Douglas.

Survivors include four sons, Mark Douglas Jr. of Manhattan, Kan., Kendrick Douglas, Zachary Skinner, both of Wichita, Kan., and Kentrell Clark of Jackson; one daughter, Latrice Douglas of Manhattan; three brothers, Roosevelt Douglas of Chicago, Michael Douglas and MacArthur Douglas, both of Natchez; one sister, Marsha Douglas Gordon of DeSoto, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
