SUMRALL — Services for Gladys Wilborn McBryde, 86, of Sumrall, who died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Sumrall.

Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. McBryde was a retired hairdresser and a homemaker. She volunteered at Wesley Methodist Hospital for a number of years.

Mrs. McBryde was active in her church community.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Wilborn and Dr. Angus McBryde; one son, Gary Wilborn; an infant daughter; her parents, Walter and Hattie Ford Thompson; one sister, Hazel Lott; and one brother, Roy Thompson.

Survivors include one son, Richard Wilborn of Hattiesburg; four sisters, Alice Davis, Ruth Bradley, Shirley McCardle and Hilda Clinton, all of Sumrall; two brothers, Huey Thompson of Sumrall and Rosco Thompson of Memphis, Tenn.; and one grandchild.
