1 dead, 1 in custody following shooting in Gulfport

Sgt. Damon McDaniel tells local media outlet officers responded to a Citgo gas station Thursday night and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says 26-year-old Chandler Pugh, of Gulfport, died from wounds to the chest.

McDaniel says one man is in custody after the shooting. His identity has not been released.

McDaniel said the investigation is still in its early stages.
