NATCHEZ — Services for Teretha Williams Sullivan, 86, of Natchez, who died Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Jerusalem Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Road with the Rev. Richard Noble officiating.  08:11 TereshaWSullivan obitpic

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mrs. Sullivan was born April 3, 1930, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Seymour and Sarah Granger Williams.

She was a member of the mother board, the choir and missionary society at Greater New Zion Baptist Church and an eastern star.

Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, the Rev. Frank Sullivan; four sons, Seymour Frank Sullivan, Louis Leon Sullivan, Tony Cardell and Patrick Wayne Sullivan; and two grandchildren, Joseph Hammond Jr. and Tommy Sullivan.

Survivors include two daughters, Augustine Floyd and husband, Thomas Floyd Sr. and Christine Green and husband, Lamar, all of Natchez; four sons, Charles Sullivan and wife, Patricia, of New Orleans, Issac Lee and wife, Martha, of Pine Bluff, Ark., Ed Sullivan and John Sullivan and wife, Marcella, all of Natchez; two daughters-in-law, Deloris Sullivan and Deborah Sullivan; one brother, Percy Williams; two sisters, Rosie Lee Brooks and Estella Young; two sisters-in-law, Edna Sullivan and Lizzy Sullivan; 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
