FERRIDAY — Services for Emily Dianne Wyles, 68, of Johnson, Ark., formerly of Waterproof, who died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her loving family, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Dillon Wickliffe officiating.

Burial will follow at Oakgrove Cemetery in Winnsboro, La., under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Wyles was born Oct. 16, 1947, in Monroe, La., the daughter of Homer James and Etta Maureen Bridges Hansford.

She cherished her grandchildren and spent endless days with them whether it was yard sales, out to dinner or on vacation with the family to Branson.

Dianne had a passion for music from the early age of five. She was given the gift to play a number of different instruments, piano, guitar and mandolin, and a voice like an angel when she sang.

She worked at Arkansas Support Network for six years as a consumer support professional level two. She devoted her time on and off the clock helping individuals with developmental disabilities. One of her passions was baking cakes, pies and other goodies for any and everyone that had a sweet tooth.

Ms. Wyles loved her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James and Billy Ray Hansford; two sisters, Glenda Epperson and Louise Morehead; and a special friend, Tressie Burnson.

Survivors include one daughter, Connie Brewer and companion, Jeuckinda Brewer, of Bentonville, Ark.; one son, Jay Wyles of Springdale, Ark.; five grandchildren, Jordan, Bailey, Langston, Kenya and Carsyn; a special sister, Theresa Whitehead; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Allen Taylor, Marvin Morehead, Johnny Whitehead, Big Bob, Jessie Whitehead and John Paul Morehead.
