WATERPROOF — Services for Willie Campbell III, 76, of Waterproof, who died Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab Center in Ferriday, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with the Rev. Charlie Washington officiating.

Burial will follow at Barcelona Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Campbell was born Jan. 8, 1940, in Waterproof, one of 12 children to Willie Campbell Jr. and Laura Fields Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Maggie Grear, Freddie Campbell, Tommy Campbell and Alvin Campbell.

Survivors include three sisters, Cassie Wilkins and husband, Floyd, Laura Benjamin and husband, Sammy, and Doretha Campbell; five brothers, Evan Campbell, Robert Campbell, John Campbell and wife, Debra, Eddie Lee Campbell and Jerry Campbell; one brother-in-law, Richard Grear; a number of nieces and nephews; and special nephews, Tyrone Campbell and wife, Diane, and Raymond Campbell and wife, Annette.
