FERRIDAY — The Ferriday Police Department is looking for one or more suspects for allegedly shooting into an occupied vehicle Tuesday evening.

FPD Investigator Richard Madison said four men were in a white Jeep Cherokee driving south on Eighth Street near Alabama Avenue when one or more subjects fired up to six rounds at the vehicle at approximately 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. Two rounds struck the rear back panel, Madison said.

Madison said the case is still under investigation.
