Natchez High School has a new girls basketball head coach.
Tim Richardson has been tapped to head up the Lady Bulldogs’ basketball program, Natchez-Adams School District Public Relations Coordinator Steven Richardson confirmed Tuesday.
The hire was made Friday at a special called board meeting.
Richardson replaces Alphaka Moore, who left Natchez High in May for her alma mater Laurel High School. In her four-year stint as head coach, Moore guided the Lady Bulldogs to back-to-back MHSAA Class 5A state championships in 2014 and 2015.
No further information regarding Richardson was provided.
