WOODVILLE — Services for Alzetta Hunter Blakes, of Zachary, La., formerly of Woodville, who died Sunday, June 19, 2016, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Woodville with the Rev. Nathaniel Nelson officiating. 

Burial will follow at Veal Cemetery under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home LLC in Clinton, La.

Visitation will be from noon until 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Blakes was a member of New Pilgrim Baptist Church in Zachary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel; her parents, Cleveland and Beulah Payne; two sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include one daughter, Katrina Hunter of Zachary; two sons, Bernell Hunter and wife, Christina, and Jeffrey Hunter and wife, Carla, all of Zachary; six grandchildren, Jerell Mize, Adriana Lanus and husband, Curtis Jr., Alvin, Marliana, Mylicia and Jada; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Edith Blakes, Bernetta Payne, Cleopatra Bethley and husband, Robert, Burtaniel Owens and Velma Stewart; and two brothers, Oceanus and Franklin Payne.
