ST. JOSEPH – Services for Sandra Joyce Fisher, 51, of St. Joseph, who died Friday, June 10, 2016, from injuries sustained in an auto crash in Lake Village, Ark., will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Guildfield Baptist Church in St. Joseph, with the Rev. Jake Newman officiating.
Burial will follow at New China Church Cemetery in St. Joseph under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ms. Fisher was born Aug. 23, 1964, in Newellton, La., the daughter of William Alexander and Carolyn Marie Shepherd.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Peter Alexander; and one sister, Darlene Alexander.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Shepherd of Monroe, La., and Sondrea Shepherd Paskel of Dallas; four brothers, James Carter of Oakland, Calif., Adrian Wells and wife, Maunela, of Gatesville, Texas, Tommy James of Simmsboro, La., and William Alexander Jr. and wife, Arnita, of West Monroe, La.; six sisters, Georgia Spurs and Debra Alexander, of Newellton, Shelly Alexander, Barbara Alexander and Victoria Alexander, all of Indianapolis, Ind., and Lettie Brown and husband, Jacob, of Winnsboro, La.; one aunt, Irma Gayles of Newellton; and seven grandchildren.
