Adams County Christian School is hosting a softball tournament Saturday to raise funds for Rebels baseball at the ACCS fast-pitch fields.
Teams are made up of 10 players, including six boys and four girls. There is a $100 entry fee per team and concessions will be provided at the event. Contact ACCS head baseball coach Matthew Freeman for more information at 601-493-5279.
The game is called incrediball, and is played with slow-pitch rules and a soft stitch ball, which is the size of a standard softball, but slightly softer.
This is the first year ACCS is sponsoring a softball tournament as a fundraiser.
“I’ve played incrediball a couple times,” Freeman said. “It’s fast-paced, very fun. We’re looking forward to having people come out.”
