July 19, 1961 – May 29, 2016
MEADVILLE — Graveside services for Wade Bonds, 54, who died on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, surrounded by his loving family, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Laird officiating and under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.
Mr. Bonds was born July 19, 1961, the son of William Odie Bonds and Susie Worley.
Wade worked in the oil field for 37 years. He loved his job and the people he worked with. He loved spending time with his family. He was always cooking big meals or boiling crawfish and inviting everyone over. He loved to travel and spend time outdoors. He had a great love for people and would always lend a helping hand in any way he could. Mr. Bonds always had a smile on his face and a laugh in his heart. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Mr. Bonds was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Odie Lee Bonds and Willie Mae Cole; maternal grandparents Winfield Worley and Vada Mae Beach; and his father,.
Survivors include his wife, Kristen Lisenby Bonds of Hamburg; mother Susie Worley Dove of Roxie; his brothers Wendall Bonds and his wife, Rhonda, of Oldenburg, Ward Bonds of Hamburg, Odie Lynn Bonds and his wife, Kaylon, of Oldenburg; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Bonds, Kimble Lisenby, Jourdan Louviere, David “Clutch” Aldridge, Chris “WeeWee” SanRoman and Chris Broussard.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Brown, Wendy Aldrige, Darryl Cole, Brent Cole and Jason Holland.
The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the staff at St. Dominic’s Hospital, Baptist Hospital and the Hope House.
