NATCHEZ — Services for Levi Thompson, 66, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, May 3, 2016, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. 

Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Thompson was born Dec. 24, 1950, in Natchez, the son of Mose Robb and Rosetta Swanson.

He was Baptist.

Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Barbara Ann Thompson; one aunt; and one cousin.

Survivors include one daughter, Priscilla Thompson and her companion, John Proby; three grandchildren, Donald Thompson, Brandon Thompson and Dionte Thompson; his father; four great-grandchildren; a special cousin, Barbara Gaines; and other relatives and friends.
