Richard and Cindy Moore and Amanda Freeman of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Moore to Logan Moon, son of Tony and Brenda Moon of Ferriday.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is attending the University of Louisiana at Monroe, La., where she is majoring in nursing.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Moore and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Nevels, all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Vidalia High School and is attending the University of Louisiana at Monroe and plans to graduate in May 2016, with a degree in construction management.

He is the grandson of Sarah Luttrull of Jonesville and the late Perry Luttrull, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Moon of Natchez, the late Shirley Miller of Vidalia and the late Sylvia Ellard of Ferriday.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 186 Frogmore Plantation Road in Ferriday.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony. Family and friends are invited.

Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.
