Grennell will not be business as usual

Politics. That seems to be all I hear about these days. I’ve never been much into voting based on party lines. I tend to be a “middle of the road” kind of guy, but for for the first time in my life I’m really excited about an election. Trump or Clinton? Neither. I’m exited about the mayoral election for Natchez.
I’m a lifelong resident and plan to stay in Natchez for the rest of my life. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve really had to start thinking about the future. My income as a musician and artist is almost completely dependent on our local economy, tourism and nightlife. When times are bad, I see and feel it immediately.
As we celebrate our 300th anniversary, I believe it’s crucial to put leadership into place that will bring us forward. Even as our state seems to makes decisions that, to many, appear to be setting us back decades.
I truly believe that Darryl Grennell is the candidate that can do this for us. I’m tired of the “business as usual” attitude that’s been in place for way too long downtown. Too many times have I read about crooked deals and partnerships that seem to only benefit a few instead of ALL of us. Darryl has promised “transparency” in his administration. That’s exactly what we need right now.
I know Darryl. I’ve known his family since I was a kid. I know he has the experience and skill sets to lead us into a prosperous future, where Natchez stands out as a shining example of how great Mississippi communities can be. And I plan on holding him to his promise.
Please join me in supporting Darryl Grennell for mayor. Our best days are truly ahead of us. Thank you.
