NATCHEZ — A Natchez man was arrested Monday for reportedly breaking in to Magnolia Grill restaurant last month.

Natchez Police Chief Danny White said Roosevelt C. Coach, 35, 9-B Winston Hill, was charged with burglary of a business for allegedly stealing more than $200 in cash from the Silver Street restaurant on April 16.

Coach reportedly broke in the back door to burglarize the business. White said Coach is reportedly a former employee of the restaurant.

White said Coach was identified on video footage from a surveillance camera.

Coach was being held without bond Monday afternoon in the Natchez City Jail.

Coach was arrested on a similar charge in 2015 for reportedly stealing stereo equipment from a car parked at a downtown hotel. Coach reportedly acted with an accomplice during that alleged crime.
