Cheramie Shawan Proby, 21, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Cheramie Shawan Proby, 21, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Monday, April 18

Deacon Newman, 24, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.

 

Tuesday, April 19

Aaron Cloy, 30, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia., burglary of a commercial building, cars, etc., and felony possession of a controlled substance. Failed to appear. Case bound over to a grand jury on each charge.

Melvin C. Watts Jr., 19, charged with manslaughter culpable negligence. Waived preliminary hearing.

Melvin C. Watts Jr., 19, charged with possession of a stolen firearm. Waived preliminary hearing.

Jimmy Lee Watkins Jr., 29, charged with child abuse. Waived preliminary hearing.

Kerry L. Weir, 42, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespassing reduced to larceny. Sentenced to 30 days with 15 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 15 days in jail. No fine assessed.

Dante Eakins, 29, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Failed to appear. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $5,000.

Gloria Jean McQuarters, 32, charged with felony embezzlement — more than $500. Waived preliminary hearing. Bond set at $4,000.

Auderyanna Glenn, 18, charged with false report of explosives. Case transferred to youth court — recommended from defense attorney and agreement of prosecutor; on probation with youth court; other defendant’s cases at youth court. Released by recognizance, signed by parents.

Wednesday, April 20

Jacaris Blanton, 18, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Diamond Patterson, 19, charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Case remanded to files upon further investigation of officer that defendant was not the instigator.

Timothy Baker, 35, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Shannon Tinner, 24, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Jessica Baker-Ribonson, 24, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Tylon Martin, 24, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor uttering a forgery. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323. Restitution set at $92.55 to be paid to D&D Liquor Store.
