FERRIDAY — Services for Alison Leigh “Kennedy” Miller, 45, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Whest Shirley officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Miller was born Sept. 8, 1970, in Natchez, the daughter of Ricky Allison Kennedy and Elizabeth Ann Mulder Kennedy.
She was a nurse and loved taking care of her patients. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, fishing, cooking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Her true passion was love for her family.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, John Miller; two daughters, Danyelle Neal and husband, Jeffery, of Natchez and Brittany Kennedy of Vidalia; one brother, Nic Kennedy and wife, Emily, of Southaven; her stepmother, Melanie Burns Kennedy of Vidalia; three grandsons, Braxton Joseph Ratcliff, Kalub Austin Neal and Elijah Owen Currie; one granddaughter, Camryn Leigh Ratcliff; two nephews, Nicholas Allen Kennedy and Brody Lane Kennedy; one niece, Dove Elizabeth Kennedy; one uncle, C.B. Kennedy and wife, Jean, of Texarkana, Texas; one aunt, Faye Miller and husband, Rogers, of Atlanta; and a number of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Shelby Ballard, Brandon Thompson, Shannon Greer, Mark Cupstid, Jeffery Neal and John Miller.
