Tanya Carroll announces the engagement of her goddaughter, Sharell Smith to Trevis Graves Sr., son of the late James White and Betty Murphy.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Lee Raymond Smith Sr. and Chazell Jones.

Miss Smith is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Central Louisiana Technical Community College. She is employed by Plantation Management in Pineville, La.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Natchez High School and is employed by Federal Bureau of Prisons in Pollock, La. and U.S. Army Reserves.

The wedding will be 4 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the Natchez Community Center.
