Trinity played Tuesday’s game without junior standout Cole Switzer, who was injured in Monday’s loss at Franklin Academy.

Kevontaye Caston got the start and gave up 10 runs on 10 hits for the Saints. The only hit for Trinity was a single by Landon Lees. Trinity’s only run occurred in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Cougars scored in each inning, highlighted by a five-run barrage in the top of the fifth.

Trinity Episcopal (0-4 in District 5-AA) next plays at 6 p.m. Tuesday in a home game against district foe Amite School Center.
