Janice Holiday Cruell

NATCHEZ — Services for Janice Holiday Cruell, 57, who died Monday, March 21, 2016, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Monday at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cruell was born Sept. 30, 1958, in Natchez, the daughter of Huey and Irene Wells Holiday.
Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who cherished her family and was loved by all who knew her. She will be truly missed.
Mrs. Cruell was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Joyce Rose Brown, Virginia Holiday and Mae Lee Brengettsy- Hickombottom.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Cruell; three daughters, Demetrius Holiday of Atlanta, Angela Holiday of Dallas and Irene Oliver and husband, Rodrick, of Alexandria, La.; six stepchildren, Joey Johnson, Phillip Tannelson, Joseph Cruell Jr., Salar Cruell, Shelley Anderson and Shantae Gibson, all of Fayette; three grandchildren, BreAnia Myles, Zyon Holiday and Khloe King; eight sisters and brothers, Annie Bell Varner White and husband, Darrell, Geraldine Brown Jefferson, Theresa Anderson and Larry Moffett, all of Natchez, Karen Alkharouf of Warner Robbins, Ga., Cecile Payton of Baton Rouge, Felecia Payton of Sorrento, La., Idell McShan and husband, Maurice, of Byram, Henry Payton and wife, Kristy, of Laplace, La., and Tracy Payton of Gonzalez, La.; and a number of nephews, including Gregory Moffett and Daniel Varner Jr., nieces, cousins and friends.
