Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Michael Jeansonne of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Madeline Mae Jeansonne to Mark Benjamin Hugh Gibson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gibson of Perth, Australia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. She is employed by University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carl Jeansonne of Alexandria, La., and Mrs. and Mrs. Audry James Ferguson of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Christ Church of Grammer School in Perth and a graduate of University of Notre Dame in Fremantle, Western Australia. He is employed by Carr Allison in Birmingham.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016, at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at Dunleith Historic Inn.
