BATON ROUGE — Services for Alicia R. Hunt Scott, 40, of Central, La. who died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at her residence in Central, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hall Davis Celebration Center in Baton Rouge.
Burial will follow at at Heavenly Gates on Veterans Memorial Boulevard in Baton Rouge.
Alicia was born July 4, 1975, in Natchez, the daughter of Leroy L. Hunt Jr. and Brenda Hunt.
She attended Natchez schools for several years until she moved to Milwaukee, Wis., where she graduated from Messmer High School. She received her LPN license from Capital Area Technical College on May 2, 2012, in Baton Rouge. She was employed by AT&T for many years while living in Milwaukee. She worked as a nurse in Baton Rouge for three years.
Alicia was warm, humorous and had a big loving heart and a wonderful spirit. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and laughter.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Isaiah Hunt.
Survivors include her parents; stepmother, Avon Hunt; one daughter, Jordan Scott; two sisters, Courtney L. Hunt and Marla Gibson; two brothers, David Hunt and wife, Brandy, and Marvin Martin and wife, Victoria; two step-brothers, Charles J. Caston Jr. and Brandon L. Caston; two step-sisters, DeAnna M. Caston and Courtney A. Caston; three aunts, Pamela Washington, Joyce Hunt Washington and Leola Hunt Rush; three uncles, Anthony A. Jackson, James Rush and Richard Johnson Jr.; and other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
