NATCHEZ — The Natchez Convention and Promotion Commission is asking people involved in tourism related events and businesses to provide dates for events for the next fiscal year.

The new fiscal year begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30, 2017.

Local tourism sites should send a written description of each event to commission chairman David Gammill and TMAC chairwoman Lyn Fortenbery.

The description should include the name of the event, sponsors, whether it is a one-time or annual event, the main contact person’s name, mailing address, telephone numbers and email address, the date and time of the event, estimated number of attendees and number of nights in hotels, estimated number of meals per person per day in local restaurants, description of publicity and the amount of financial assistance requested, if any.
