Mr. and Mrs. William Blount of Blackshear, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashlee Michelle Blount to Andrew Michael Ellard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael B. Ellard of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ware High School in Waycross, Ga., and a graduate of Georgia Southern University and St. Augustine University. She is employed by Ochsner Health System in Baton Rouge.

She is the granddaughter of Ben and Bealuh Dial and J.B. and Yvonne Blount.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of Mississippi State University and St. Augustine University. He is employed by Peak Performance Physical Therapy in Baton Rouge.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Ellard and Mrs. Opal Vines and the late Mr. Reese Vines, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 305 Creek Bend Road in Natchez, the home of the groom’s parents.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony. Family and friends are invited.
