VIDALIA — Voters seeking to register ahead of the two Concordia Parish runoff elections on April 9 need to visit the Concordia Parish Registrar of Voters office by Wednesday.

Two races will be decided on the run-off ballot, Ferriday mayor and Vidalia City Alderman District 2.

Sherrie “Ms Mac” Jacobs will seek to oust incumbent Gene Allen in the Ferriday’s mayor’s race. In the March 5 election, Jacobs received 532 votes to Allen’s 388.

In Vidalia Alderman District 2, Robert Lee Gardner Jr. and Raymond Murray will vie for the position. Murray received 149 votes to Gardner’s 140.
