SIBLEY — Services for Virginia R. Smith, 81, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Southwest Memorial Regional Heart Center in McComb, will be at 11 a.m. today at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Sibley.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Ms. Smith was born Oct. 25, 1929, in Natchez, the daughter of Sam and Virginia Roy Smith. She was an Eastern Star member and a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Victor Smith Sr.; two sisters, Estelle Giles and Yvonne Harris; and one brother, James Smith.

Survivors include one loving daughter, Carolyn Smith Ellis of Houston, Texas; three grandsons, Victor Smith Jr. of Natchez, Christopher James Smith of Saginaw, Mich., and Deonté Moore of Houston; three sisters, Sammie Lee Turner of Natchez, Christine Robinson and husband, Willie, of Jackson and Willie Mae Holloway and husband, Rob, of San Antonio, Texas; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
