NATCHEZ — Services for Idorsey “Pistol” Fleming, 76, of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Jr. Road with the Rev. Earnest Ford Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel in Natchez and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Fleming was born Sept. 9, 1939, in Fenwick, the son of Howard and Mary Mock Fleming.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Howard Fleming Jr. and Norman Fleming; and two sisters, Josephine Fleming and Delzina Fleming.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Princella Fleming; one daughter, Tracy Fleming Dodd and husband, Vincent; one son, Andre Dixon; five grandchildren, Taylor Dodd, Brandon Dodd, Bria Dodd, Cyra Dixon and Alicia Dixon; five sisters, Evelyn Pickett, Geneva Jackson, Camille Jackson, Bertha King and Eva Calvin; four brothers, the Rev. Leroy Fleming and wife, Mary, Otis Fleming, Morris Mock and wife, Shirley, and Frank Mock; two godsons, Roderick Beamer and Chadwick Williams; one aunt, Hannah Fleming; special caregivers, Jerry Davis, Adrain Safras and his brother Otis Fleming; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
