NATCHEZ — Services for Robert Earl Jackson, 49, of New Iberia, La., and formerly of Natchez, who died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at Our Lady of the Lourdes Medical Center in Lafayette, La., will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Jackson was born May 25, 1966, in Natchez, the son of Mack Myrick Guice Sr. and Lois Campbell Guice.

He attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe and was the owner/operator of Computer Solutions in New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Mack Myrick Guice Jr. and Glenn R. Guice; one brother-in-law, George C. Vines; and one sister-in-law, Barbara Guice.

Survivors include one brother, Joe R. Guice and wife, Mary, of Church Point, La.; one sister: Delores Guice Vines of Natchez; fiancée, Mandy Cleveland of New Iberia; eight nieces, Jill Harrison Scruggs of Indian Trail, N.C., Beverly Guice, Evette Arnold and Gwen Guice, all of Vicksburg, Valerie Gaylord of Conifer, Colo., Velvet Scheider of Groveland, Fla., Vivian Sabine of Westminster, Colo., and Vickie Roybal of Colorado; and three nephews, Melvin Guice of Vicksburg, Corey Guice of Lafayette and Mack Guice III of Key West, Fla.

Pallbearers will be Mark Landreneau, Russell Armand, Paul Comacho, Barry Lillard, Parker Yelverton, Dale Vines and Danny Vines.
